iPhone 5 Probably have 4.6-inch Retina Display

We are miles away from the release of next Apple smartphone, but still we’re getting some juice rumors regarding the iPhone 5 in a regular interval. We just got news regarding the next iPhone from “Reuters” which is hard to believe. The international news agency is reported that, Apple Inc’s next iPhone will be coming with a sharper and bigger 4.6-inch “Retina” display and also quoted that it’s set to be released around the second quarter of this year, which is originally reported by a South Korean Maeil Business newspaper on Thursday.

Obviously it’s exciting to here news something like this regarding one of the most popular smartphone, but we can say it’s a pure rumor and sorry to say there are lot of doubts in my mind regarding it reality. Doubt in my mind because, a company as large and loyal as the one Apple can go for a drastic change like this. Can they switch its display size from a 3.5-inch to a 4.6-inch? Even more its major display suppliers LG Display and Samsung Electronics Co declined to comment.

But the reason behind we believe in it, Apple is also planning to change screen sizes for its tablets and laptops. In case you don’t know there was also news that, Apple is planning to release a smaller 7.85-inch iPad (current iPad have 9.7-inch screen) by the end of the year. Furthermore the company is also planning to release a 15-inch MacBook Air recently and wait also a 14-inch MacBook Air too (current MacBook Air have 11.6” & 13.3” screen). Well this is not the end, it also comes to know that they are preparing a notebook of that size to its line of super-slim computers.

It’s really surprise to hear, Apple will be releasing its next iPhone sometime in Q2 i.e. merely 9 months after the 4S announced. Even more the Holiday quarter release turned out to be very good for the iPhone 4S that scored record sales. But it seems quite impossible for a typical company like Apple, how they would kill their product within a very short of period by unveiling its successor in Q2.

It also comes to know that, the company is intent on creating a “nano-SIM” for the next iPhone. There are few other features comes around with rumor; it will support 4G LTE connectivity, powered by a quad-core A6 chip that expected to clock at around 1.2 to 1.5 GHz, it probably run on iOS v6.0, and more it also support NFC technology too.

If the rumor would true then the next iPhone will be a real headache for Samsung, which is currently turning out be a tough challenger to Apple in smartphones. They have lot of smartphone with 4.6-inch display e.g. its flagship Galaxy S II and they are also coming soon with its successor Galaxy S III. I’m really felling bad that I’m not pretty sure about the rumor regarding features, shape, size, technology and other about the iPhone 5.  We need knowledge on how to take apart the iPhone. But not the whole thing!

Just the back cover, the antenna cover and the Metal frame!

Easy enough?

Remember, All we need to do is remove the cable latch of the Headphone wire, from the back ,metal cover. and the Metal chrome frame surrounding the screen.

1) Remove all 10 screws around the screen. don't lose em!

2) Remove the Frame.

3) Now that the glass is exposed, use a blunt knife, plastic or wooden reccomended. Or a plastic spudger, Carefully SCRAPE ! yes SCRAPE off the cracked parts.

4) Now, the glass is GLUED ON TO THE LCD SCREEN, Be very careful, you do not want to puncture the LCD. This is where the GOO GONE comes in. Spray a bit on the exposed surfaces under the crack, DON'T GET THE INSIDE OF THE PHONE WET, this included the cables, and the logic board, and the battery!

5) Repeat. (avoid touching the home button)

6) Eventually you'll be able to pull off the rest of the glass.

7) When Done. Carefully add some glue on to the edges of the LCD, making a rectangular kind of shape. Make sure you spread it evenly, cause there is no way back when you place it on.

8) Put a dot of glue on the Glass you bought.

9) Smear it on the black corners.

10) CAREFULLY MEASURE out WHERE IT goes! THE POSITION is VERY IMPORTANT. ( Note the HOME button is the key)

11) Glue it on and place it on , let it dry for a while , ( place it near the sun, but not directly, like near the window) for around 5-10 minutes

12) Okay , Now its time to reattach the frame, and screw it back on.

13) Reattach the ribbon cable on the headphones on the back cover.

14) Pop the frame back on, pop the black antenna cover back in and you're SET!!
